The Iron Nugget, whose name is meant to
reflect the mining past of Hurley, is a place where the
town's past traditions of good wholesome food and
rural hospitality are not forgotten. We promise to

The Iron Nugget is located on famous Silver Street,
which has been an attraction for locals and tourists
for over 100 years. Hurley's reputation for fun, food
and entertainment is known throughout the world. In
the early 1900's the three worst places on earth were
thought to be Hurley, Hayward and Hell, with Hurley
being the toughest of the lot. Though lumberjacks
and miners were the pioneers of the land, Hurley's
reputation is most famous for Prostitution,
Prohibition, and Gambling. That's what put Hurley
on the map ~ and legends keep it there.
